BREAD DRIVE

We handed out loaves of bread to the community of Tafelsig in Mitchell's Plain, a little place nicknamed "Die Dump" by the local community of Mitchell's Plain. The bread was donated to Precious Gems by Islamic Relief. Alhamdulilah and Shukr to Allah for granting us this blessing to be able to feed the people of this community.

It is amazing how many families do not even have the resources to afford a loaf of bread, a thought that many of us cannot fathom, when we walk into our kitchens and have the expectation that there will and always has to be bread. This community touched us deep as we witnessed the impoverished community appreciate this small token of sustenance for them. Small for us, yet a meal for them.

May the Almighty Allah grant us much more to help those in need...
